hi, i have no trouble getting the ride height low enough, with the collars full unwound i hav 1mm rideheight. are you using the rayspeed sprig retainers? insteads of the plastic ones that come with the kit? you have to use the rayspeed ones as the shock towers are so low.

hope that helps

also make sure you are using the short shock rod ends, i have mine screwed up until there is only a tiny bit of thread left showing on each rod.

Default SDW vs LCG

I'm new to Yokomo cars and was wondering what's the difference between the MR4TC-SDW and the new LCG conversion? Which ones better?

the lcg is a updated and more user friendly version of the sdw. the sdw is a complete car, the lcg is a conversion kit to update the ssg chassis but you can also use the cgm or sdw chassis parts. the sdw is a limited edition car and parts may be hard to find shortly.

I have loosened the collars all the way to the top to no avail.(springs sloppy on shaft) Still does not drop. Any reason for this? Any and all help much appreciated.
Check to see which hole you have the caster block in. The upper and lower hole can make a difference too.
Also where you put the spacer, on top or below the steering hub will make a difference as well.

good run yesterday in the slidefest. The track was very inconsistent for everyone in mod yesterday no matter what tire we were using. I couldn't power out of the turns no matter what I did to the set up. I see you guys switched to the oneway....I was going to but was scared that due to the low bite it would get worse with the oneway. What was your take on the spool vs the oneway yesterday? Be sure to post for Matt H. that I did hook ya'll up with a killer motor. he doesn't love me anymore See ya next weekend.

yes. the front uses the Rayspeed sway bars and the rear uses the front upper type. I don't have the part #'s in front of me but they are available.

SWR has low bite? Did Billy sell the track or something? Who in the world is in charge of spraying, it can't be Billy.

the track was well sprayed but something is up with the asphalt. I don't know what it is but it's been low bite as of late. I will get a handle on it for next weekend
