Thanks for the quick replies guys, i do have other shocks lying around but i do know that the losi xx4 rear shocks have longer shock shaft? The rear shocks from other brands tend to be a tad shorter...

Guys I'm on the verge on buying one of these cars.
I already have some losi shocks that I can put on it. Lucky me!
Another 4wd buggy to add to the fleet.
One small problem, can you still get parts for this car?
Or will XXX-4 parts fit straight on mainly the A-arms is all I'm worried about
because it has aluminum bulkheads on it?
I dont want to get it knowing I cant get parts.
I do plan on racing it in the 13.5 4wd class, because I already have 2 built
for modified.

Tons of parts on losipartshouse.com other places as well. I am pretty sure the xxx4 rear arms are the same. I think the fronts are different but i'm not sure. you can get almost every part.
crazy fun car.
no pressure ;-)

Like wilson said, losipartshouse.com is awesome. You also can get parts from Horizon Hobbies too.

I'm hoping to have Wilson's old XX-4 soon.
I bought some parts for the XX-4 while I was at the track last time.
I found some rear losi shocks all I needed was some springs & o-ring shock bladder replacements. Bought a bumper set, 78 tooth spur, 25 tooth pinion
both of them are losi brand. I have a slider motor, digital servo, 2.4 Ghz radio & esc that I might put in the car, just to have the car 100% Losi for a while.
When I sold the slider a couple months ago I kept all the electrical stuff.
Never used the motor or esc. I heard they were good I just never put power to them.
Maybe they will find thier way in the XX-4.

Thumbs up

Gorgeous, Olivier. I'm assuming the rear pin brace and skid plate are custom...any plans to sell them?

Now I'm angry, I'm gonna have to go blow the dust off my 2 XX4s and see what they need to get goin again.
Kinda wish I never saw your car Oliver.
That is a beautiful race car.

What is the deal with the front arm outer pin brace?

Oliver...awesome. Love the little touches, the electronics plate, the tunnel cover being machined down with the antenna tube mounted on it...the little machined bits on the front arms, replaceable rear skid pad and rear toe block.

I could only strive to have a car 1/2 as well put together as that.
