Been a while since someone has posted in this thread.
I have signed potesions everywhere to bring the XX4 back.
All we need is time, as this car I have bonded with like I have my B44.
It's just that darn good of a car, even if it does have a bit of age to it.
Back when this car came out people ran 2000mah batteries with 9 turn
brushed motors. I imagine you only got 3 min of runtime with so low power.
I have flipped this car upside down on concrete, it doesnt look like Ill be
able to break it anytime soon. Everything on the car seems beefier than
some parts on my other 2 cars.

my opinion of on the XXX4 is it is a prototype that should have never seen production - a pro can make any car look good.
from what i have seen from the XX4 it many time better than many cars, including many newer ones
this thread has been especially slow lately

Hey guys I just put some new green belts in my XX4 and it feels like the rear belt has too much drag. I pulled all the rollers out (still had the black belts in it) and the front belt loosened up, but it is pretty noisy. Kinda like when you have the gear mesh set too tight (but its not, I set it like my XX and XXT and they don't sound like this). I'm running the "B" block for the rear diff, any ideas/suggestions? It wasn't like this before I changed the belts, although I think they were the original belts, so they were likely pretty loose.

We purchased the the shock tower braces from the UK. A company called
Fibre-Lyte makes them. They were very reasonable and work excellent. My son hit a tree head on at about 50 Km's and never broke the front tower. If you want to send me your email, I'll send you some pics of the crash damage.
lol.
