Charts for Quick reference:

1) put inner bearing in hub
2) slide large shim over axle all the way up to the back of the axle
3) slide axle/bone into hub carrier
4) slide small shim onto axle through hub carrier
5) push outter bearing into hub carrier

using that i'm able to put my normal male silverback gorilla wheel nut tightening job and there's no binding. in the pictures that come with the shims (the pic socket posted) it seems like they want you to slide both shims onto the axle before sliding the axle into the hub carrier and like i said, that doesn't work.

I've traditionally done the diff screw head on the left side (driver's side), but have since switched to the Right side (passenger side) regardless of transmission type (3 gear RM vs 3 gear MM and 4 gear MM).

Kdub (Kurt Wenger, former AE designer) had this to say on the matter:

The right rear is the way the AE manuals state (or used to state). It really shouldn't matter since you go around turns both left and right.

I thought you were referring to the XB2 since the back of the B6 is XB2ish looking.

Amen, I thought i was the only one who sees this. If you want to find out more about the B6, go drive the new yz2's.

The amount of B5M's for sale is staggering.

I just got my B5M working great. It's plenty capable.

The B6D can't be THAT much better.

The one and only yz-2 at our track I'm able to beat and our handling is equal. He has no advantage on me.

Now if I had money to spend why not I'd get the B6D and start all over again.

I'm hoping the AE version has more droop and the solid AE jump handling but the same great cornering as the YZ. That would make it superior IMO.

Why does everybody think the Slow-komo is so great? Although I admit it depends on who's driving the car, there are no competitive guys with one around here....although the same can be said of XRay. I have an XB4 and XB2 and I like them. In fact, I'm excited about the B6 because it does indeed look similar to an XB2.

Yeah i dont understand it either. Same thing is happening in Video Games.
The Playstation 4 is supposed to have a 5 year lifespan at least.
Already they are making a more powerful playstation 4, not even 2 years after PS4 launched.

It's called evolution. It's pace is only determined by it's own evolution.

Its not evolution like they would have us to believe. IMO its just there focused on SALES, moving cars, money. Your not evolving a year later. Thats failing to do your home work in the first place. To busy concentrating on sales and they missed the boat. IMO, its make the company look bad.

You will all buy the B6 regardless of how soon it was released after the B5
