No idea when.....but they are coming.
Also, why not drill a hole through them, run a longer screw and use some nuts to ensure they don't pop off?

if you have motor temp problems, heres the solution. The difference is huge and the fan will never come out.

Will another brand 3x1.4 pistons work in the HB shocks? Also, anyone tried to mount another brand of shock on this thing with any success?

So Far no.....the hole in the center of the piston is too small....I just drilled my blanks today!

I made a jig to drill pistons..If I get time tI'll try to print a bunch out...

Actually yes, I'm using the associated 31.4 with zero problems. just use both of the washers for the piston, pull the piston all the way down into the shock body and then tighten down. it works and fits perfect for me.

Doesnt the shock shaft wander around inside the piston? the hole in the HB piston is much smaller.

I'd like to find out for sure. Also, has anyone tried a different brand shock?

Not for me. There is no play or any kind of binding either. Just make sure you use the washers.

Excellent idea Jason!!!

That's precisely the type of ingenious little ideas I conjure up in my brain all the time. One suggestion though is to make the jig a tad taller on the guide side and don't go so far past the piston because the bit eats a bit of material off the jig. Just drill til it punches through and keep the power on as you pull out of the jig so as to pull any burrs with it.

Took this from an old post obviously, but what type of 3X1.3 pistons are you running? (Brand wise) I have no more spares for drilling and want to put in 3X1.4, but need a reference to what will work in these shocks.

TIA!
