Still, ya set the slipper right, and she's golden.

Hey guys, I recently updated the slipper pads in my V2 '13 model from the black rubbery ones to the SLS pads.
Does anyone know if the initial slipper clutch settings are the same? My manual says 5.5-5.7mm gap measured between the bearing and slipper clutch nut. Are the settings the same with the updated SLS pads?

The updated pads also has a new stiffer spring that I would suggest getting also. I set mine to feel and have not had a problem yet but it looks to be almost the same.

i cant trust the xray manual anymore because when making the turnbuckles they have that 32mm measurement and it says 1:1 but unfortunately someone made a mistake and put the camber link image where the steering link image is but with the wrong measurements, im sure im not the first to notice this but now im concerned about my slipper setting. I just finished building and havent run it yet but i set the slipper to specs and my manual says 5.5-5.7 and its the updated kit w the new parts and supplemental insutrctions

Learn to set the slipper correct based on your race surface and traction and you will have 0 problems.
A correctly set slipper will also make you faster and smoother around the track.
If however you do happen to run the slipper too tight and strip a pinion gear you will benefit from also changing the bevel gear as it will be worn from the stripping pinion gear

Thinking about trying the graphite chassis.

Do they hold up well?

you have an old manual. 2014 says 5.7-6.3
If you do not adjust the slipper properly YOU will destroy the diff and drive bevel gears.
