Not that im aware of.

i have the t4 steel gear diffs in mine. Think its the t4 i know its from a road car. As the steel shafts the gears go on.

Never had a single problem with mine.

Make sure to use a good amount of grease on the ring and pinion gears. The stock graphite grease flings off pretty quickly so if you use it you need to keep applying it. I've been using some automotive grease that works well.

Every time I've seen one of the gears chip, it was dry or nearly dry.

Default Steering

Hey guys i have just finished building my xray and im not sure if i have the steering wright, The screws on the ackerman are hitting the scews on the diff case,Just wondering if i have built it wrong or do just need to set the end points correctly so the screws are not hitting each other

You have to have built it wrong, Post a pic.
Nothing has been said about this as far as I know so no one else has had this problem
