So last night at practice, I tried 500k in the center diff for a few packs as the traction came in and didn't like the feel of it for my driving style. I ran consistent laps but no real fast laps. My fast lap with 500k during practice was a 15.4 and consistent 15.8-16s
The 500K almost felt like the car had some push to it, but did notice out of the corners it seemed to spool up quicker or faster response.
I switched back to the 300k center diff and within the first couple laps already ran a faster lap time of 14.7 fast lap with consistent 15.1-15.3 times. I'll definitely be staying with 300k center diff for my driving style.
I let a couple other people drive it as well with the 500k and with the 300k, and both said the car felt better with the 300k in it as well.

Onroad cars running orca ECS's but I think they work great in my off-road cars. I have another question regarding this. I want to run a 13.5 24KO in my X-ray buggies. Amain says the KO is for high load applications, boosted class, heavier vehicles and the stator has a bigger blank than the KO so not so hard to heat soak. So this motor would be perfectly fine to run in my xb4 or xb2 right?

Yes, those motors will work fine. I currently run a Maclan short stack MRR 17.5 in my XB2 and it has been great. I ran a D4 short stack last year and it was great too. As far as the ORCA stuff; it's just not popular in the off-road scene here in the states. No other reason than that ORCA makes great products.

A page or 2 back I mentioned that with this new expert servo I put in my xb4 is causing the chasis to flex and actually moves the entire front clip slightly side to side when I steer. So I dialed back the steering end points on the radio and I have to go all the way from 100 down to 50 to completely eliminate all the flex. Does that mean I am only getting 50% of the full steering? It doesn't look like it just by looking at the hubs when I turn but I'm not sure.

It is typical on just about every car that the EPA settings are far less than 100% and will also be different from one another. Each manufacturer of servo has a slightly different range of motion. Servo arm length changes the overall throw as well. I typically try to set my steering servo up as close to center trim as possible, on the XB4 we have the adjustable turnbuckle link from servo to bellcrank so I use the turnbuckle to make the car go as straight as possible and then use the trim on the TX to get it prefect, all my cars are within a couple L or R trim adjustments from 0. I do this because it makes the DR on the radio work correctly, evenly adjusts total steering angle less or more when you adjust it. After that you set your EPA to the maximum turn angle you intend to use or just before things start to bind up. Then drive the car and use the dual rate, DR, use that to reduce the steering for on track adjustments. I set my DR so that the steering wheel on my radio gets turned about 95% of its total throw to get the car turned around the tightest inside corner I want to use. You will find it is far less than where things start to bind up. As an example of what you may end up with...

Actually they feel pretty good after actually getting them on the car. I've never run anything other than the stock pistons so I'm just not used to them feeling like this but I bet this setup will work pretty nice
