How did you match the springs? Losi shock tool with no fluid in shocks?

Hey I was on the track a day ago and I had both of my rear inner hub bearings collapse. I was able to replace them with no problem. I was told this is kind of normal as Losi bearings suck. Is this true or do I have a different problem?

Summary: Inner rear hub bearings crushed, outers are just fine.

take a digital calliper and measure each spring off of the shock.

I would ask the other racers that are at the track and ask them or even ask the owners if need be.

I am just an average Joe behind the remote. I have been having issues getting the ball diff dialed in. From build to break in to setting it correctly. Well yesterday after much frustration someone at the track let me try his gear diff. Wow what a difference. For me this was the best thing I could have done. Now I will just play with the oil to get it fine tuned but for me this was awesome.

In my bag I have super soft rebars and mc compound scrubs for upfront and soft square fuzzies, super soft hole shots and the softest gigabites. I run the fuzzies with rebars 99% of the time. This is on an indoor clay medium bite sometimes smooth sometimes rough and sometimes dry sometimes wet.

I along with a few others are using Losi 2,000 diff oil in our geared diffs.

Thanks for that. That is what is in it right now. I may try a little thicker next time out just to see how it drives.

Try losi 4k and you won't regret it. With that said now that I can build a ball diff and have it last, there's no way will I go back to a gear diff.

Where are you having issues with the car? Forward traction? Turns? Entry or Exit? On Power or Off Power? Or is it just bad everywhere?

it really is not great anywhere the rear is real snappy getting on power out of turns ,pushy off power ,and if you try to push it it gets slower and twitchy ,it is really hard to explain i guess
