From savox i used the tg1258 but then put it in my 2wd, very good for 69$ with 0.08s, now using the 1271 from my 1/8 which is actually overkill until i buy another 1258 and swap it in. Cant beat thei price/quality ratio.

Yes...I took my whole car apart before I ran it. All 3 diffs had a little of some weird grease that wasn't even stuck to the gears. I put 5wt oil in the front and center and 2 in the rear. I put the set up posted on Nitrohouse's web site and it handles very well.

Default cells?

I was just wondering what everyone was running cell count wise. I just finished mine and took it outside for a minute with the stock 13t pinion, mmp, murfdogg 6.5, and a 4900mAh 2s lipo and was not impressed. The mmp is at factory settings btw. I know my Hyper 10sc is ballistic on 3s. Is that the way to go?

I just did the same.. however using the Nitrohouse set-up http://www.nitrohouse.com/a34/Hyper-...icle_info.html

on the front shock mounting it says #3 on tower and #2 on arm.. well i did it this way and the body does not fit. the shock bodies are hitting the body so it doesn't sit on post/mount correctly. what does everyone do to solve this issue?

I run mine with the Castle 3800/ Sidewinder SCT. I have a 15T pinion on it and its very quick but not that fast. Its hard to explain. It can go from a stop to full speed in 20ft. For whatever reason my Hyper10SC is faster with the same combo (14T actually). I have a second one that I'm putting a Novak 6.5HV in. I guess we'll see how that works. I only run on 2 S. Despite the lack of speed it really moves around the track.

Referring to the NH article on the Hyper TT setup, what are the ride height and droop numbers? They seem to have left those out.

It depends what you are at now in the diffs. 3,7,2 should give you plenty of steering though.
