what are peoples experience's with the losi 1/10 xcelorin esc's? im having trouble selling my car so it looks like i may have to use it in my new 10tt...
so my set up is going to be a ballistic 4.5T and 2s lipo, turingys to be exact, so would the xcelorin hold up or blow up? its great in my drifter but that puts little load on the esc, with no grip and all...

If it is the 100a sensored esc then it will do fine. I have the hobbyking version of that esc and I run it without the fan in my 10TT. Hope this helps.

ah, good, yep mines the sensored version, cheers for the feedback on this, i had my doubts about it, some people at my local track have had some gone up in smoke but I'm almost certain that they were running beyond the 3.5 turn motor limit.

Thats what I have in My TT and its just fine! I am going to put in my HV 6.5 and that will be the true test, but I expect it to be fine!

yay! more good news about the xcelorin esc's, and that 6.5 should test it out, I do hope it copes with the 4.5 550 size ballistic I'm putting in. How hot does yours get when running? any settings that you would suggest with a 2s lipo setup?

I've been running mine in "stock" mode right now. No one else to race with so I've just been playing with it at the track and never really even warmed the esc up yet! But thats with an 8.5t 540 motor... Will report how the 6.5t 550 motor runs! It sure is fun to play with! Would be nice to race these but interest is very low here in the "middle" of the country!

IMO the Xcelorins have been a great speed control but dont have dynamic timing boost or turbo features... But its a tough reliable ESC so far for me!

indeed, I found I had to play allot with the throttle curve on the pc to get to kinda have a boost feel, ok so stock timing it is and I'll go from there, cheers for the tips on the esc and good luck with the 550 size setup, wait to hear how it goes.
