Not sure on those part numbers for the Ofna blue springs, But if ya can get some Losi Blue rear springs they are a little stiffer than the stock orange ones. Now for front springs i am using Losi Black front buggy springs which are their hardest spring. Also take off the shock boots as they limit travel front and rear. And if you really want some crazy steering, take off the front sway bar..

Raydog,

What are the set-up tips that DJ and Tim gave you?

Here's my Hyper 10....

Have it setup right now for speed, but going to get it race ready soon. I just painted the body up real quick last night but going to make a nicer one for it soon.

Upgraded everything to either CF or CNC parts except the CF chassis. Got the elite motor mount which is awesome for changing pinions!

In it I have: Tekin SC4X 4.5T with 23T pinion on 3s. (using an MMP) This thing is a lot more stable compared to the Mini STe!

I'm out of servo tape so that's why everything looks so messy. :P

23T and 3s?!?!? Video with top speed?
Also, this pinion is from RNR racing? If yes,it won't last long.I had one with a 540S motor and after 15 runs it got stripped.Get Novak's pinions. They are way better.

BTW:Nice truggy

Nope it's a Castle pinion. All my other pinions are RR and Novak pinions. Hope to get a vid up soon!

This Novak esc will get fried. Many people had problems with their "HV" escs.Plus Novak ALWAYS over-rates their products.Get a MMP.OR a MMM if you feel that MMP won't handle the Neu motor.(Actually MMM is more reliable with this motor)
It'll be a torque monster.A motor that is NEU(the best quality and performance),4 pole(more torque) and will be used on 3s and 4s lipo will be great. Also you'll need a good battery(200A continous or more). When you build it don't forget to post a vid

I need a part...
Has anyone found a aluminum (or whatever metal) front hub? It's the parts that the pillow ball get in.(and the wheel axles with the hexes)

Hey thanks for the heads up I use a MMM ESC on my 1/8th Hyper ST conversion and wanted to try something different like Novak but if the HV Pro is crap I'll try the Tekin RX8

ditto. i always liked the speed and craziness of 4x4 sct, but thought it detracted from the look and scale-ness of sct and 4wd buggies have always been too fragile. this looks like a nice balance between the two in terms of speed and durability. will most likely be my next race vehicle and i really hope it starts a new class.
