And also I have searched for these o'ring from Kyosho but cant find the ones but some say the X ring from Darango wont leak with Green slime... I'll follow the tips and lightly sand the cups before i reassemble the diffs has any one tryed a sealant on the diffs and gear ??

Hello guys

Has any one of you guys tried to squeez SP GT2.0 Pro Brushless ESC and Futaba 604FS in the Rango with success?
How much vertical clearance under front drive shaft?

Thank you in advance for the input.

Cheers,
Bob

Got them here at CBC or any place that can sell seals,i only paid $4
for mine but they have to be viton oring there a harder oring
thean STD oring's.

If you can find some shim that fit say 7x5mm that are very thin
that fit over the 5mm shaft between the oring and metal washer
under the eclip will help with putting a little bit pressure on the oring.

Car has only had 6 runs so far but time will tell for $4 it is worth a try.

Cheers Jay

Hi Bob
Ive got a Tekin Rs and Spektrum sr300 and the receiver is sitting
on it's side and they just fit.
Try putting it in different way's even if you have to put the ESC on
it's side or the receiver.

Ive seen big ESC's in these but they are using micro receiver's.

No to sure but i think Retro-Rc is using Speed Passion send him PM.

Im sure other's are using these ESC's in they Durango's

I have managed to sqeeze in a SP GT1.1 (believe it is the same size as GT2) with the small spectrum receiver (not the micro one). The tricky bit was the capacitor block which I managed to fit in between the GT and the motor (under the front shaft). I then placed the PT on top of the receiver!! I recken there is about 1 to 2mm clearence all the way round!!

Once I start racing again (hopefully later in the year) I plan on replacing all the electronics with something smaller.

Thanks a lot Jay,AH

I have seen many people in this thread using SP identical ESC, but not much of Futaba user.

After I went through all pages in this thread, I found someone mentioned about Oople forum.

Bingo, SP GT2.0 + Futaba receiver!!!!!! Worth mention this page again as there'll be more update pic, sooner or later.

Now, I wonder? Will this layout survive thermal in extremely warm weather in Thailand?

here are a couple of pics of a b44 body I picked up off here. Mounting holes are 1cm or so back compared to normal mounting on b44. And has enough room for a heatsink/fan on motor. The main reason why I went this way is to keep it abit cooler pre tekin 203 days.

Be sure to utilize the vents in the stock 410 body. They'll make a big difference.

I have been using the Venom V2 and Futaba since the start. Its tight, but totally usable. Will try and get some pics up for you.

Having one of the new Gainbull bodies makes it a whole lot easier.

Cheers
