Hey Hayden

You will need the ball studs to ,i used Associated tc5 ball studs and
RPM ballends in long.
With the studs get the long and the short in 8mm or 10mm save
haing to ues washers to biuld it up and you can always cut some thread
of them if needed.

I put heaps of grease on that seal so hopefully that helps. Does thicker silicone leak as much? I put 30000 in the front..

So that's why they give you such a huge bottle of 2000 oil with the diff kit

Ok,

i had a few issues with leaky diffs. plenty of green AE slime on X-rings for the diff and no issues. Also tap the gear that goes on the outdrive shaft down about 0.5mm more than standard and helps the swell the X-rings and create a better seal.

My diffs are meets old and no leaks

as for diff leaks someone posted on the other durango thread on here to use ky00rg-05 o-rings in place of the x-rings. also they said sanding the diff cup w/ fine grit sand paper in a fig. 8 pattern helps seal it to the ring gear. i havent had a chance to try it myself though.

The kyosho reference is from 1/10 nitro on-road cars.
Put them with green slime.

No leak with 2000 asso in the rear diff.

Heres mine, with the Tresrey Gainbull body on it....hated it at first - but it grows on you after a while.

I have some of the kyosho seals to fit - but cant be arsed pulling down the diffs again........they dont leak quickly enough to justify the effort at the moment!!

Cheers
