Hi Marg,
Do you have Chris N.'s phone number from on road? He had some parts I was chasing. Also Tony do you have any old mod motors for sale? Need to get about 5-10. Thanks.

What's the possibility of racing on the new track on sunday...?

I am guessing not.

Looking forward to driving on this awesome new track, eagerly!

Hi All,

Im looking to race nitro at st ives. What type of cars is everyone driving there ? What would you recommend ?
And can anyone use the track during the week for practice ? Or the weekends that racing isnt on ?

Thanks!

Hello there. We race electrics mostly, but we have a 1/10 scale 2WD nitro stadium truck class too. Most nitro guys run RC10 GT2 and Losi AD2 (I'm the weird one running Mugen MST-1)

If you would like to practice outside club days, an electric buggy or truck is the way to go, because nitro vehicles are not allowed to run there, except on club days. Oh, and it has to be 1/10 scale (or 1/18).

Got my batteries sorted, and looks like a 17.5 so I'm pretty stoked.

Couldn't get a lipo sack... Does anyone have a spare that they want to offload to an old fella?

Well if you are working on the track this Friday I can come and help out for about 3 hours.

Might be able to come over and help on saturday morning, but will have to bring the whole family... toddlers and all.

Cheers
Ant

Hi Ant

Will be working Saturday and Sunday only. Please leave the toddlers at home mate, heavy machinery and guys flying shovels and what not everywhere is probably not a good environment. But do bring the family any other day for sure!

Your offer for help is appreciated thanks.

Cheers
Tom.

Thanks for the heads up. Not sure where you were at, thought you were laying down the pipes and stuff.

All the best for the weekend.
