Wow looks awesome guys. I just scored a B4 from the FS section last night so I'm looking forward to coming out and having my first offroad meet in 15+ years. I was just having a squiz on the site & was wondering how popular 2wd superstock is? I have a spare 10.5 & ESC from onroad so it seems like the logical class to set it up for provided the numbers are there

Tyres tyres tyres...
Now that the StIves track has been run on and you guys have some idea on what works, www.nbhc.com.au is offering all drivers in all classes 12% Discount off RRP. Choose any brand, any style of Tyre for all classes.

Tyres section on our site is here: http://nbhc.com.au/item_list.aspx?id=18512&brand=0

Can ship out if need be, just email [email protected] or call (02) 9971 1977
or
Order through the web site and Pay via Pay Pal.
or
Pick up from 858 Pittwater rd Dee Why.
To receive the special pricing just ask for the "Club Challenge Tyre Special".

Word on the street for whats working is Bar Codes or Double Dees from JConcepts. Holeshots or Inside Jobs from Proline seem to be good choices.

Regards
Ari

Hi Craig, no superstock to speak of. Stock or mod is the go. Some of the guys run 10.5 in mod with no problem. traction is always the problem in offroad unlike onroad so you will be fine in mod with 10.5

That's the problem my brains engaging but it takes way to long to get that information to my hands.

All I know so far for truck is that losi step pins with the top step worn off are a great practice tyre, decent grip and hardly any wear.
Can't see why holeshots won't be one of the better tyres for the race, until you rip all the pins off and try to go around the first corner at full speed

Blockheads and X2000 worked well on the B44, but then again maybe I just want them to work as I have plenty left from the Canberra Nats...

I really wanted to come up for a race but I was crook all weekend... So I went down for a few runs this morning and boy what a tough layout! In the end I was happy just to string a few laps together without a mistake. Broke a few bits but that's what happens when you take on the triples... repeatedly...

A big thanks to those that made this happen. A change for the good I say!
