guys, can you keep me posted on the weather. I have an 1-1/2 hour drive and I don't really feel like driving up just to drive back home. I would like to leave my house by noon.

Thanks, Greg

Dekalb Weather

If it isn't raining, we may take a ride out there to see what's going on. I'm looking forward to it, now I have to see if I can talk the wife into a "nice drive" tonight.

I would like to thank AJ. Ray, Mike Nelson and the others that hosting this race....beside the worry about thunderstore the whole nihgt, the whole race is PERFECT...not 1 drop of rain, not hot at all, light wind, except a little cold at one point at the driver stand..............can't ask for more, and night race under the lights are awesome.

Now...really looking forward the possilbility of 1/8th racing in the future, I had so much fun running the 1/8th there........and of course, the indoor carpet racing.

WOW! Talk about a great race day. To think I almost didn't come because of the weather. Thanks to everyone that put on a great show. See you guys in September on the rug, if I can wait that long.

Boomer...they came down from the big WI and threw down!! Man I didn't even know there were asphault tracks in WI :P

-----------

Great racing!! Other then the straight-a-way ramp the track is awesome!! I forgot how fun it is to run on that track. Everything ran smoothly....no rain....and cool weather to keep the low turn mods from overheating.

Thanks to AJs and everyone who made this race happen.

Shane..by chance to you have the qualifying results you could post?

Just wondering how the qualifying order compared to the finish order...

could you post them for all three classes....i was all screwed up looking at the sheets indoors thinking that was the qualifying list. that's partly why i came out during the wrong mains :P

Shane....yeah, I don't think it is a good idea to post the whole day qualifier and main in here, but you can post them over the IRP website/forum, that is the perfect place to do so.....

And I am sure I have a wrong count on my MOD final result (I don't want to believe that but that sounds too good to be true...).....I really doubt I made a 19 laps on the final.....2 laps more on my best nitro run and my electric car has no setting whatsoever......
And I don't remember I made any 18 laps on my nitro or not at the qualifer...

Cool weather (night race) does solved all the NITRO problem.....and it only help the MOD motor more.....

What straight-a-way ramp?

Thanks for a fun race night, guys! Unfortunately, I had too many radio problems and left early. Looking forward to running again soon!

I personally do LIKE the straight a way RAMP....did that all the time (in purpose) when I was running the Nitro TC (not that fun with the 190mm electric, the whole car is hopping...)
I actually tried to ran over the ramp with my 1/8th...but probably because of the weigh, it didn't do the wheelie........
