The length of the Nitro A main will be based on how many entries there are, all other nitro mains will either be 5 or 10 minutes depending on turnout and fuelers available. All electric mains will be just a single main.

Any chance of a 19T rubber class? I'll run open mod if need be, but 19T rubber would be fun.

Like usuall if there is enough people to make the class we would run them, only downside would be trophys are already ordered, but if all the guys that show to run the rubber class decide to run 19t we could award trophys to the class.

What time does racing usually end at AJs?

Just wondering because you were starting the Midwest Champs at 6pm.

on a normal Saturday night racing usually ends around 10:30-11:00, we are starting this an hour earlier just in case we need the extra time due to more racers entering this event.

Does electric mod = anything including foam tires...? I don't really have much knowledge about rubber and I hope I can do a race which allow foam tires for electric.....

An official AJ's rep can confirm this, but I'm sure open mod will be the same rules we use for the weekly races. That means foam tires are allowed (as Shane said) as well as brushless motors (and not just the ROAR legal stuff). My buddy has been running a Plettenburg motor on a Schultz U-Force controller this summer. Open mod on AJ's big track is a fast, fun class. I highly recommend it to everyone. Hope to see everyone August 13th, if not sooner!

What kind of turn out are you guy getting at Ajs for your weekly races for touring car stock and modified? I'm from Davenport Ia and I'm planing on racing there this winter.

well right now we are outside on the asphalt with a weekly turnout of around 12-15 guys of late almost all running open mod., but once we go inside on the carpet we will have 30-50 guys every week. Stock rubber is by far the largest class with always 20+ guys per week. modified inside is hit and miss with anywhere from 5-10 guys running in it.

Many new things are coming keep on eye on AJ's regular thread.
