I saw it happen more than once, today! It looks like a blowout of a real tire.

Just a little curious as to why all the A mains except for Ebuggy had only 5 minute mains? Some other tracks run up to 10 minute mains for most classes except 4 wheel mod buggy and 4*4 short course which run 8 minute mains.

Dynamite, I think it was just for time constraints. It was a very long day!

Most places actually run 5 min quals and mains. Ebuggy runs 8 minutes because they marshall two heats

It's time to build a Losi! Christmas came early.

Btw, SC10.2 for sale! It's a good truck, with Pucks, lundsford, STRC u brace, jconcepts parts and more.

Going on ebay tonight.

I like my serpent 1/8. It's no longer for sale, it's getting faster every race.

I say keep them at 5 minute races that way flashlight racing returns to where it was 6 or 8 years ago. People will start doing some REAL racing with their nitros.
It makes no sense to have all this technology in electronics and not use it.
The one thing that makes nitro so much better than electric is it makes you be more consistent over the longer mains. In a 5 minute dash you have no room for error even if it is from someone else taking you out. In a 10 or 12 minute main you have time to get back that lost time.Drive 2 or 3 hours and pay $25 or $30 for entry and you get 20 minutes of track time, naaa.

I've seen places run longer mains. Anything except the BIG races with lots of competition or a track with 10 second laps and it's a snoozefest And even then, after 5 or 6 who cares anymore? Even the ebuggy mains at 8 minutes totally suck if u ask me. Ever notice that almost nobody but the marshalls are watching after a couple minutes? And trust me, they don't want to be there either. Look at the drivers stand at the 7 minute mark and even the drivers look bored. I'm usually marshaling them and have looked, that's how I know.

Paying $25 to $30 for 24 minutes of track time makes it worthwhile

Tracktime is short on race days. It's how the program works.

Want more time? We have 3 practice days. 10 bucks gets u 5 hrs.

I have heard this argument from people a lot. I don't get it. I was there early, practiced a couple times with my cars, hung out with my friends, marshalled some practice, met some new people and learned a lot, raced my cars in 3 qualifiers and a main, got to cheer on my friends and enjoy their effort, and success...

Basically I had a great time all day long from 7:30 am until nearly 10:30 pm at night. It cost me less than $50 bucks to be there all day.

I will never understand how anyone can think this is a bad deal.

Like Jason said, if you want more track time then practice days are when you want to be there.
