Is the outdoor program going to be ran the same as lastyear as far as nitro goes?

So 5min mains?

Yes, short mains for nitro, this eliminates the "need" for a pit guy. 6 required to make a class right now, but that number may go up based on marshall positions.

I really don't want to start any crap up again, but I just need to say this. That's the reason right there why "nitros don't show up". No one is going to come to run a 5min main with 2 5 min qualifiers. Pit stops are like the essence of nitro racing and 90% of the guys come prepared with a pit guy. If not, we are all willing to help out anyone that needs a hand. Nitro club racing mains are always at least 15 min. If the track doesn't want nitros to show up, then fine make the mains 5 min, but then don't say it's the racers fault that they don't show. Just my 2 cents.

If only a few show they will run with E-buggy and run whatever qualifying times and mains that E-buggy run.
Most everyone of us that run E-buggy ran nitro, but nitro would not get enough to run. I remember many days going to race and no one showed up. Its is not the tracks fault that nitro is not run its the racers. If they show up they will run!
And no. Most nitro guys do not show up with a pitman
You guys wanna run nitro then bring your fellow nitro racers.
This weekend a lot of the nitro guys will be at Rnd 2 of the nitro series.
Great time to bring it up

A lot of reasons why nitro racing been dead at Lh and I'm not getting into that.
Bunch of new 1/8th cars electric and nitro at Lh.
Nitro #'s been low everywhere in the midwest but it looks like maybe this year the #'s
Will be better.
