Yes Rob...Leisure Hours will have a boosted 17.5 class for the nats. The host track can have two classes of their choice. In those two classes you will not be racing for a national title....but you'll be able to get track time. Scott is doing it for the guys that are running sedans.....so if you dont want to run modified you will still be able to run two classes.

Will it be Pre Mounts ( solaris) or x pattern like tires for USGT for the Series?

Asphalt was SO much fun last summer. I am thinking of picking up a 3Racing FGX so I can race another class this year. Otherwise its just RCGT for me.

FGX is 190mm and seems very competitive in Cali. Also Tamiya's monopoly on the Mini / F1 / FWD classes kinda sucks because innovation should be encouraged. Just becuase one company has been doing the same thing for years, shouldnt mean you have to regulate classes to just their chassis. They moved on in Asia, I think the states should to. Serpent, Top, X-evo, 3racing, All have chassis to compete with tamiya, and people are afraid its going to be an advantage. cmon...
My vote would be for open chassis in ALL classes. IMO.

In the end, whatever...the more the merrier. Anyone ridiculously fast I will put in the boards!
I was reading the old series thread and there was some early chat about a website.
Did a website ever get created? What's the URL?
