Possible New Track in Kewanee Illinois
#61
justin. TBH I thought I wouldnt like the SC class eighter as I am a 1/8 buggy and truggy guy but ever since I started running my Blitz I have really gotten into it, brings me back to when I first started racing with 2wd buggy and stadium trucks...and has gotten me back to the roots of driving and I feel it has improved my driving as well as it makes you go back to being "smooth" and not pin it to win it but all in all KRCF will be the place to be come 2011!!! so yes get them specs dialed in as this will be some fast paced indoor action!!

Can't wait. Let me know if you need any help with the website. I own a web development / internet marketing firm and can be of service if you should need a hand. Most of the track related websites are horrible in looks, functionality and seo. I'm also available for hire or consultation if you have a business website you'd like to optimize and promote on the web

Kbone. Yes I do plan to be open Monday ,Wednesday and Friday evenings for practice. Also planning on Thursday evening race program and Saturday evening and Sunday race programs. For the remainder of the indoor season.
I appreciate everyones offer to help. When we need help I will let you know.

are any of the tracks finished?
from north of peoria here...about 45 min from ya. I am mostly interested in the dirt oval...get on it Jenzo! I know that Jeff Schriener would be interested as well.
Are you planning to make it loose dirt for the oval or packed for foams?

Im on it scott. Heres an idea. Loose dirt oval in the summer, hardpacked foam tire track in the winter. I want banking. This will be a very cool raceplace as it is large enough for 3 indoor tracks.

Jenzo,
I think you will get a good crowd in the winter. I agree w/ loose dirt in the summer, might be tougher to get a decent crowd w/ all the outdoor tracks around. But, seems like everytime I go to bills it rains, so......?
