Gentlemen -

What is the current race schedule for off-road? I seem to have developed a racing itch that needs to be scratched.....

How about tires on the SC Trucks? What seems to be the flavor of the week?

Wilde
Tuesdays and Fridays @ 7pm. There are some saturday night fever races peppered in here and there as well.

Tires for stock are any RTR. Tires are open on Mod SCT.

I think timing should be allowed. Heck the guy leading stock SC on tues is not running any timing and he is undefeated. I run timing and it is a give and take in some places it is better and in some it hurts ya.

Timing should be allowed. I ran timing last night and did worse then i did with no timing!

I just bought a Novak Pro system a week ago and did not know the boost/timing issue was being debated for stock SC. My hope is that if it's deemed illegal - the ruling will be just to turn it off - I'd hate to have to buy another speed control at the moment.

Ditto on the current leader not using boost/timing - he's prefers consistant good driving instead...

Thats what spec racing is for. Stock sc isnt spec racing

You can turn off the timing by going to a spec mode on your speed control. If you wonder if yours have it just look at the ROAR website to see if it is approved or check your manual.

hows the spec slash class going on tues and/or friday? like still getting a good turnout? couple of us are planning on getting some. looking to get into racing and spec seems to be a good way with out dropping a ton of cash.

I would be up for Spec Slash racing on Tuesday and I know of one other regular who would throw his hat in the ring as well. Beyond that there are a few Slashes that race in Stock Short course too (don't know how "spec" they would be).

Some how we need to communicate with each other so we can give TS the heads up that we have enough to form a class on Tuesday nights.

It's basically a chicken/egg thing...no one really talks it up so no one signs up for it to see if a class forms, no one signs up for it so no one talks it up...

Let's change that....I'm in!

I still have Jason's Slash set up from the Short Coarse Showdown. I don't know if we can make any Tuesday night races but we will bring it for the remainder of the SNF races.

i am down to run stock spec slash i have been running with regular stock the past couple of weeks but would like to get the class going before the Spektrum race because that is what im running

Results and points from Friday November 12th....89 entries tonight, our largest turnout for weekday racing to date, on the new track!!
