Could anyone give a guy wanting to get into racing sct more info on this track as far as classes and rules go? I just recently converted my t4 to a sc10 and its running the castle sidewinder sct combo.
I'm guessing this probably isn't legal to run, willing to buy whatever esc/motor set up to get going though.
Also times for practices and races. I'm wanting to hit up a practice day with my current set up to just get a feel for it all before I start buying new motors and parts

"OLD" Go Fast track
Normal classes would be 2 wheel SCT, 4 wheel SCT, 2 wheel buggy, 1/8 E-Buggy. They do have some type of beginner/novice class that will race just about anything. As far as rules go, they are pretty laxed for club racing, being there are no prizes or awards. Just would enjoy having participation, so I would guess you could run-what-you-brung essentially. The facility is a have FUN type of attitude now that some things have changed. Much more pleasant atmosphere As far as times go you could visit their website page to find out more information.

As far as your truck goes, you should be fine. Most tracks in the area run an Open 2wd SCT class. The accepted norm is:
Any commonly available SCT body, wheels and tires. (no 1/8 wheel conversions)
Tires fit under the fender wells, no extra wide trucks.
Battery - 2 cell lipo battery maximum.
Motor - Any Brushed or Brushless 540 class motor. (There is no advantage in a bigger long can motors.)

RC Buggy World in MT. Healthy was a bowling alley. They were open at least a year and a half. That was the first place I ever raced with my Tamiya Black Foot!!! Man those were the days. I bleive the owner's name was Vince and it closed shortly after his passing on. My memory was very fuzzy/numb back then and thats all I remember.
