here is some contact info for the camp and for fork lift support.

Camp services can be reached at 622-7623, SSgt Robinson or Sgt Hall can help out and help coordinate fork lift support, just remember it needs to stay in one of the stalls in he mess hall parking lot to avoid any A$$ pain from base/facilities, etc.

I am looking forward to seeing every one again next weekend to be able to run with you all one last ime...

let me know if you need anything from this end, I fly in the morning, so i may be able to grab it and bring it with me,

Rob
I'll get the container out there next week then

I talked with Jon about this the other day. We are looking at items to get changed in the software that we use for keeping time. Please PM me with things you think need to be added or changed. For example, it was brought up that we should have a DNF (Did Not Finish) button for those that fail to finish the race due to flameout, batteries, broken parts, etc.

Current List I am working on:

1) DNF Button
2) Color of text on certain screens
3) Printout-change the title
4) Reverse start order

I was happy with the TS performance. DNF is probably my only suggestion. But I am still a racing noob.

Overall the race day went well. Things that could be different:

1. DNF, if you are not running at the end of the race you should be DNF. the only people you finish ahead of is other DNF with less laps.

2. If possible on the results put race position at each lap.

3. Reverse order on second qualifier.

4. figure out a way for the core guys to run the same transponder, all cars all day.

5. space out the start on the qualifiers; if we have 5 cars and we average 30 seconds laps, we could have 5 second intervals on the start. Clean start and clear track to qualify.

6. Spot Ken 2 laps in the Slash race

Ok. dunno 'bout you guys, but that was fun, if you're wondering what I'm talkin about then show up next time Igy thanks for the tires...and those puffed lipos? well, they have more volts left than the non puffed...

As far as the TS...what Ken said sounds good...

Especially keeping the same transponder crystal in all cars and the DNF.

For the race voice how about a nice female voice rather than the computer guy voice too...

We are gonna have to work on hand signals or something for the people dropping the nitro cars for the start.

Next SCT night at RC Paradise is 5/25 Tuesday 1900. Clean your car up before you come please. Kenji said they are gonna do it on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.

We could just wave a flag or piece of paper to the pit men, the driver can hear the start. I may add a few more speakers, but don't know if the stereo can handle it...

Maybe a 30 sec warning for refuel, and a 5 sec warning to drop them.

They take up 1/2 of the Drift track, throw on som skater ramps, as some random objects to the track and cover it with carpet to make it have that "offroad" feel. It was pretty damn fun. We did have to monitor temps on the Slash a little. It was worth ¥500. Me and Ken both blew out a shock cap and made a greasy mess but no big deal.

We found out you couldn't flip it on carpet with another truck but you could push them forever.
