Haven't seen a Revo out there yet. Not sure if they'd have you race with the truggy's or what.

The class you race in has to do with your experience level. Are you new to racing? If so, you would be signing up in the Sportsman Buggy class with the Ofna car.

Hope to see you out there!

Your first time out racing nitro you would just sign up for the sportsman buggy class, the revo I'm sure Dan would let run in the sportsman truggy class, no problem.

After talking to Danny over at Tekno RC, I am thinking about making a trip out there... A few questions though.

What tires work well for Buggy and Truggy?
What is the Electric 1/8 scale like out there?
If no 1/8 scale electric class, do we run with the Nitros? If so, what are qualifier times like and mains?

Lots of tires work well there. I like Bow-Fighter M3 the best. Holeshots, Bow-ties, Crimefighters, AKA I-Beams, Cityblocks, Losi XBT and Eclipses. All in the SOFT compound.
There are a few electric 1/8 th scalers there. They run with the Nitro class. They have to have a mandatory pit during the mains. Mains are 15 minutes. Qualifiers are 5 minutes. There may be changes to the race lenghts though. I talked to Dan about it. If enough electrics are there, then they would have there own class.

Sounds good, I carry those tires in my bag, so no need to spend more money!

I'm not sure if I can make a 15min (4S 5000mah Neu 2200)... I would have to see over at REV. I probably could, but I'm not certain. Well if I had to take a mandatory pit stop, maybe a battery change would be possible.

Hey everyone, had a great time this Sat. Really liked the split of Pro and Expert truggy, made for tighter racing. My wife was taking some pics that day, all the pics can be found here. Here's just a few of them.

Does anyone have a Google Maps location of ARC? I'm not 100% familiar with the area.

Ok, I think I have it figured out, but I was trying to gauge how far it is from me, which is only about 1 hour, not bad... closer then OCRC
