martin salgado 07-16-2007 11:15 AM

I'll try to make it out. I miss racing on road. What tires were being used?

Billy-Ho 07-16-2007 01:16 PM

Had a blast on sunday, good turn-out.

I'm going to bring my 18r to run w/ the 18's, ALL STOCK so look out turbo BOB.

Mike, you going to be able to make the next one, cuz i know you want redemption after almost lapping the field, and then... What did you break anyway?

Kerr Discount is trying an every other weekend schedule.( Next race, sunday after next)

Would it be ok to park along those garages and use my truck bed as a drivers stand if theres enough room?

Hi Jon,
Would be great to have a pipe or board barrier in front of the driver stand area. A car launched right into my foot in the main....OUCH!! And maybe set it about 2 feet away from the track so that all the drivers stand back from the track so that you can see the left and right corners without someones radio blocking your view;)

Unless of coarse veejay brings his driver stand!

i apprreciate the suggestions. i will try to get a piece of plywood to use as a barrier for the drivers stand and the end of the straight.

price for 4?

MikeR 07-17-2007 02:33 PM

Yup. If you put together your own tires make sure you use very thin inserts. The air gap creates more grip.

Jon Kerr 07-17-2007 02:38 PM

Mike, are those Speedmind inserts similar to a Yokomo 039F or 039M like we usd to run at SoCal?
