1. Jconcepts Subcultures
2. Jconcepts Hybrids
3. Beta Cubez

The Beta Cubez are very similar to the Hybrids alomost the same, and I ran them for a heat and were very good yesterday!!!!! Corey Johnson, Agama team driver, has a ton of them for sale and they are considerably cheaper than Jconcepts. Just find him at our track when he is there. Just my opinion but those 3 tires are all you need for out track and any other in my opinion. They work really well on my buggy's.

I ran Subcultures in the 2nd heat only, and in the main yesterday!!!!
thanks for the imput I think im going to get a mugen because it seems to be the most popular choice but what about a esc and motor combo I honestly have no clue what to get as long as its under 300 bucks. Then for the servo im looking at the spektrum s8010 servo or should I go with a savox servo let me know.

Had fun racing and BSing with you Rick, can't wait to run against you again!

EDIT: It was also nice seeing all the manufacturers represented..

Losi taking first, Academy taking second and Associated taking third.

That is pretty awesome...
It was an absolute blast, although the end result wasn't great for me I should be there with the 22 in two weeks anyway.

Well crap! I missed another race. I gotta check this board more often. Since all the Dalton gang was at AMS I had no place to race. Note to self come in this thread more.

Congrats guys.
I lost my brand new clutch bearings at the 8 min mark in the main. I had a really good time. The Pro Truggy A-main was the best race I have ever seen in my life

Oh man, I have done that before too!!!!! When I did it, it ruined the esc in the short .25 sec it was plugged in. I am not sure, but I think you might have. What brand of battery is it?

Do you have deans plugs? They can only be plugged in one way so as long as they are soldered correctly they will prevent that from happening.

X2 - Man, I have done it a couple times also - Made me sick! $$$ down the toilet!

Personally, I would not trust the battery even if you got it to read. With good batteries so cheap now a days, I would be more worried about the ESC. The only ESC that did not blow when I did that was the Mamba Max Pro. Figure I would learn, but I have blown 1 (maybe 2) ESCs doing that exact thing. So easy to do with the bullets in the battery pack!
