Race Chilhowee Knoxville!!! ROCCK Racing Check in for Saturday 12-22-12
 

We have some exciting news about a ROCCK Racing club owned and operated track coming to Chilhowee Park in Knoxville. Please read this special message from our club president;

This is a great opportunity for us as a club to keep RC around for a long time. The track we are proposing is only a temporary track. We have high hopes for a permanent track on the Chilhowee Site.

None of this will happen without your help. We will need your help building the track, maintaining the track, running practices, running races and most importantly you will need to pay your dues.

Dues are $40.

The Chilhowee site is a secure site that will be locked to protect our investment. We will have a race and practice schedule;

Race every other Saturday starting 4-21-12
Practice every Wednesday
Practice every "off" Saturday

Times TBA but the sessions will be about 6 hrs long each.

We (your ROCCK leadership) are trying to do our best to make this successful, I'm sure we will hit some bumps along the way but, in the long run, with your help, we will be successful.

We have so much to discuss. Please come to the Club meeting at Sir Goony's Speedway March 29th at 7pm. The track will be open for free practice. At this meeting we will announce if we have enough club support to pull this off.

Be prepared to pay your club dues at the club meeting if you haven’t done it already.

John has really turned the newsletter into a wonderful thing. It is full of Upcoming ROCCK events and RC info. I read it for the 'Hey Heywood!!!' section alone! You really should sign up!
