Hi guys, sorry for asking this but is there any reasons for R1 dominate tamiya track besides the owner lives very close to the track? If the motor is this good I have to save up to get one.... Also the newest version of the motor is v16 correct?

Hi everyone , does R1 have new software for mod ?

i'm happy with my V16 with 1700+ rotor, but i think i paid like $125-130 maybe. now it looks like they want $150. that's pretty steep for a motor that doesn't include ceramic bearings or aluminum/titanium motor/timing screws.

Brent, for F1 25.5 are you running the regular or option high torque rotor? Thanks

Just checked a std V16 13.5 I had here and same story
Really sloppy QC in my opinion, irrespective of if it is purely cosmetic or not, we're not talking Trackstar spec motors here (which by the way, they seem to have no problem getting the stator ring at least square)

i run 2wd buggy. heat has never been a problem with this motor. it has never seen north of 115 and that was a full pack of practice. after a race it's usually right around 100.

This happens sometimes. Not to worry, it's an easy fix. Place the front plate on a flat surface and simply take a 3.0 mm hex driver and push firmly on the front ring. Do this until all three sides are flush. I had this happen when I used long screws during motor installation.
