That's funny. I was in the same main. It wasn't easy to dodge all that traffic but congrats on the win!!

Just got my packs and motors. WOW!! The first cycle discharged at 7.83 avg. volts at 30 amps. That's a little more than 1.3 per cell.

I do have a brush spring question. On your CO27's is there a reason you use reds and 4499's for tc? My combo has always been purples and F brushes. When the comm gets worn and cut a bit I might even go to a heavier spring.

i just received my Brood CO27 Pro. i am really looking forward to running the motor and seeing the performance difference between that and my stock CO27's that i have been running.

is there any motor prepping procedure i should follow before i run it on track for the first time?? do i have to do a motor break i? or can i just install and run?

how would you suggest i gear the motor for the following situation.

Track: medium flowing track with about a 100ft main straight.
surface: asphalt. smooth medium to high grip.
car: Tamiya TB Evo 5 (2.437:1 internal gear ratio)
tyres: Take Off CS22/27/32
batteries: Promatch IB4200
ESC: Novak GTX

you help would be greatly appreciated.

rocket:

there isnt anything you need to do to the motor...she is ready to rip!

gearing...i would start at around 7.0 and go from there....you have the same size track as we do for our test track....that is wehre most people start...

Hi, I have just bought a new Team brood stock motor, it is a black can not sure of the make. Could you tell me what make it is and at what rollout/finla drive should be. I run on asphalt outdoor(our times are here www.stmcc.com.au) and use rubbers. Also while I am here what is the rollout for a komondo 19t.

Regards thanks in advance.
