It means 1119 has higher torque?
In fact i want use it with max17.5t motor match with Scorpion S2-50 ESC. Which the race is free 17.5 motor but with handout blinky RPM limited esc.
I want try to use higher torque rotor that i can in order to lower FDR to gain some advantage.

Best regards

So you are saying there is some variance?

nah, just being a smart***. the thing with the copper rotor is that it's longer. the numbers (the gauss) are probably similar to the teal rotor, but because it's longer, it covers the entire stator (making sure it covers the magnetic field). how much of a real world difference? who knows...

Yea unfortunately I dont have any updated gauss numbers on the coppers but they are a better choice for torque applications.

Ill ask trinity the same question as I asked R1.
Since your using illegal large wire in some of the 17.5 motors being sold . I'm refering to even standard motors sitting on shelves as well . once your motors are pulled from approval lists due to not knowing which is which. Whats your plan to correct this matter moving forward?
I personally feel your products need to be removed from all lists for a amount of time as a penalty for cheating

Nice job with the slander dude. It’s not all motors illegal do some due diligence before you make general overarching statements kind of makes your credibility look questionable.

Not another D3.5 debacle. You would have thought they learned their lesson.

I don’t work for them and I’m not dodging anything.
Tired of hearing people ASSume they know these hints and take them as fact.

It’s funny you got Associated guys like Rick talking smack about Trinity and his own Reedy motors were illegal.

This is not any intentional cheating in the part of anyone.

This is three or more manufacturers building to a spec and then roar in retrospect saying they are illegal.

I think this is a result of the crap rule roar made that allows for variance in 17.5.

I don’t Race roar events anyways so no biggie to me. However if roar set strictly defined 17.5 rules like they did with 25.5 it would make this process much faster.

Like I said before do your due diligence and understand the problem or else you look ignorant.

not to step in...but Im unaware of any of the Reedy motors not passing tech. I had 4 motors to tech that all passed, (2) 21.5's, and (2) 25.5's, and in case I went ahead and ran 17.5, ran it as well and all of them passed. Eric ran his and well as Will. It was only a handfull that ran Reedy to begin with. But all passed with no issues

Again you are mistaken ... The wire used in at least 2 motor companies for a fact have been found to be larger than roar specified as maximum...
How more clear can it be in the rules??
Oversized by choice or by accident is still oversized.... So what does that mean ? Independant testing has found this to be truth .
And with there being a performance advantage in legal resistance (above 17.8) with larger wire it should not be aloud to be used ... I have several motors (1 purchased before Oct and several purchased after and there is a substantial performance advantage after the 2min mark in the more recent motors.... I wonder why even tho the track testable specs Havnt changed ?
