Doug, if you are going to the bigfoot trust me I would love for you to build my stockers, but it didn't sound like you or Jeff were going and after being spoiled by your fast setups last fall I wanted to make sure I was up to speed.

Oz, dont count me out yet. I might be eating my words before the week is out and may end up there in a driving capacity and if that is the case I would have time to take care of the Fall Classic Champ!!!

If you come what class will you race?

I talked to ole boy today, and your right he is Kooler than a fan. I will talk to Darin tomorrow after the races. I plan on getting some to put the name out there, then its just a matter of time before they take off. Like we discussed Darin just has a bad taste in his mouth at this time.

Midnight, Hi Performance Hobbies have sold approx 40+ motors (stock and 19t) and not one complaint. Eric will not let a motor leave his shop with substandard performance! You WILL be impressed!!!! Darin and Tracy will be too.

Hey EA,

Last night at practice-I broke out my ROAR stocks that I bought from you and the ones you tuned at the Halloween Classic. I threw in f-brushes in two and 767's in the other-dynod them on the Robi-typical 3000 more rpm than the Monsters and less max power-less torque-but as seaball had me look-very good average power number. Wel-they ran like a raped ape on the track. Looks like I may be shelving my monsters for awhile and stay with the EA ROAR stocks. NOw-my question is-why didnt I figure this out 7-days ago at the OS champs!!

Broke into the second 10 pairs of brushes that i bought from you tonight Colin, im sorry to say but they were bloody awful, the first batch of brushes i ran for the first two qualifiers were great. Skimmed the motor, shimmed etc, 2V for 5mins on my pulsar. Sat her down on the track, same speed for 2 mins, then it went soft. Took it off the track and the serrations were gone, with the original 10 pairs they had been lasting for 3 runs before they were gone. Help? Running Red/Green as recommended for the monster.

First two runs the car was fantastic programmed the speedo up with a fairly powerful profile, had two guys come up to me and mention how quick my car was Stuck it 3rd in the B in qualifying which wasnt so bad as i finished two runs and the third i swapped motors to find it wasnt up to par.

Berger
Go to red/red, i`m only guessing at this
Q) did one side of the brush seemed burned or both sides

If you feel that the motor is reving really high before it goes soft them i might guess that there is a cetain bit of brush bounce at high revs which would start the burning process, so going to a harder spring might be the answer red/red or even red/purple+

It was both sides, i couldnt understand it myself as it was fine with one set of brushes then the next got eaten up really quick. Report back tomorrow, and ill try that br00d ROAR as well.
