I'm in the mood for a new charger and I was wondering what the prefered charger is amongst Surge drivers. My previous chargers were an LRP Pulsar 2 and a CE pitbull (not the x3). I've been using a friends Orion Advantage and the results have been decent. If anyone suggests a step charger like the orion what different step profiles do you like? Finally, what features should I look for in a charger to give me that extra competitive edge?

Thanks

P.S. Gary YGPM

I've thought about a turbo 35 but I don't want to have to lug that huge thing around everywhere I go. The APS 3-in-1 actually looks like a charger I might be interested in just because of its numerous features. But... how does it charge?

I'm still leaning toward a step charger because I've herd you can do wonders to your batteries with them. I race mostly stock and some local guys pump up the amperage to like 8-10 amps for the last 200-300 mah and it makes them ballistic at the start of the race.

It charges very well, in fact i usually charge on that, not the turbo.

If only it could discharge, my turbo would be staying at home.

I was wanting some info on it

I plan on racing the Roar Nats next month at Halo Hobbies

is this motor Raor legel ?
what type of motor based is it ? I see atlas based
is there a possible pic of this motor and what brushes does it take ?

thanks
jason crist
The guidelines for 19T are different between oval and road. If the Reedy and C2 are legal for the Nats, then the Atlas should also be legal.
