Frank Ulbrik not sure on finish, but he had some bad luck after Qualifying 3rd in mod
Mike Ulbrik qualified 4th in mod but he also had some tuff racing and finished something like 6th
CHRIS ULBRIK 2005 ROAR NATIONAL CHAMP in 4 cell stock oval
he ran good just to qualify for the A main
TQ thru 10th was sepperated by only 1 lap
so yes it was tuff racing in that class.
his car looked good from the start and after some smart racing from a 15 year kid he went on to leave the field and win
congrats Chris
Ernie Parsons also qualified for the A main in 4 cell stock and i think he finished 6th or so
the SURGE batteries where awsome
as it should all the guys who ran SURGE batteries all made the A main in there class.
Gary
you have the best batteries out there, but you and the other racers who run your batteries know that
later
jason crist
congrats to Chris Lawson on your finish
good luck on your next race in the series.
the racing in Florida is some tuff racing
I'm going to send ya an e-mail so check it

Congrats Jason! Nice finish...
So after a week break, I'm back to work today and matching up more cells.
Seems like I'm going to be racing some off-road with gary, so I'm looking to buy some new gear. What do you guys think, buggy or truck off-road???
Hope you all had a good weekend!

Depends on your track, and turnout in each class, but I know I always enjoyed 1/10th truck. It was easier to drive and more forgiving. If you plan to run stock then go with a buggy as stock motors in a heavy truck can be a bit frustrating.
What does the turnout at your local track look like in those two classes?

Has anyone tried the atlas motors. And is it true that they need to be geared higher than the C2's?
