The more you use any pack the shorter its' life. So, if you want to save your best packs for races, don't use them every week. However, how your 3700's run compared to your old 3300's is quite different because you can now gear your car a little differently because of the extended run time....sooo, if you want to get used to running your 3700's in a way that works best for your car and your motors run the 3700's all the time. Really, it's up to you and what you are hopeing to accomplish.

Got my packs in 2 days! Cant beat the service or the price. Only drawback was the packs got built wrong. I can really fault you guys for that though, I called and change the order 3 times! Thanks again for the great service though. Looking forward to having some HP this weekend.

Hello, I am getting ready for a new season of racing after being out for a while. I would like some advise on the new cells that are available. There are so many batteries out there I am just overwelmed with all the different choices. I will be running a Team TC4. I would like to know what roar approved batteries fit into the tub chassis of the TC4. I know that using thin battery bars will also make a difference. I will be running sportman stock class. Thanks for any help you can give me.

i only use my race packs when i race (sounds weird). now if races are weeks apart, so be it. my race packs will last that much longer.

once i feel my race packs are not up to par anymore, i make them my practice packs. hope that helps.

Try the 3600's they are awesome for stock,lots of punch,great voltage and lighter than the 3800's.

anyone tried the new IB4200's?

since the voltages are higher throughout the 5 min race, are the motors now fading quicker?

I have not tried the 4200's yet but with the 3800's having such high voltage I have not experianced any motor fade. I actually use less trigger since I get more out of less...(if you know what I mean)

i would have to agree with promatchrcr.

and looking at the discharge curve of the 4200, they do not have more voltage in the first 5-8min. they have the same voltage for longer.a good matched set of 3800 give you over 1.20 for 470-500 seconds. that is well past the 5min mark. 8 min is only 480 secs. I have 3800 with over 500sec of 1.20+. also their IR is not any lower.

the cells to watch are the IP cells, no more voltage, but the IR on the newer series is way low. that means more punch.
