Hi Everyone:
NitroJohnnyD:
Sorry to see you your leaving the B.M.I. team. looks like I'll have to get Mini a 1/4 scaler to run with you... Have fun.I know they are up here.
Congrats to all the team B.M.I. drivers at the Fla State series race. just wish we lived alot closer.
Stephen Baker:
Please call Jay for my phone # I need to talk to you about snowbirds/Xray setups. I am home most mornings this week except Wed.
I am gone around 1:30 pm for work.
if any of you happen to get a deal on the Novak SS Brushless setup grap it............ they rock we ran one this weekend and Mini set TQ with one. batteries aren't really as much as a factor as they are with the brushed motors. gearing is close to a MS motor. speeds are up there too and they are more evenly matched. (both the brushless turned the same mph through most of the qualifing).
Tmunno:
Sure bring a Buell to a track where I don't live......... anyways they are one sweet ride...........too bad I'm to tall for one.
racer-chick:
I eat atomic wings every thanksgiving........... a big bucket of them. not that hot.
pballkid21587:
welcome to the B.M.I. team.
I try to answer any questions you have about setups for carpet/foams on the B.M.I./TC3 and Xray.
Thanks

BMI TC3 Canadian Debut!
This past weekend's Magma Race at Toronto RC turned out to be an amazing race - drawing racers from accross the country and North America. Team associated's Scotty Ernst raced in both mod and stock sedan. Tamiya Factory Racing's Martin Crisp took the TQ and win in both classes.
I ran my BMI TC3 in the stock class. It handled beautifully. If I had some power, I'm sure I could've made the A main. As it was, I won the C main in a commanding style. Everyone wanted to see the car - they were quite impressed with BMI's work.
One question though - has anyone found that the chassis 'sags'?
My front and rear ride height all weekend was 5.75 mm. Yet, in the middle of the chassis, on both sides, I measured a ride height of 5mm.

Yep, it's true. The BMI ETC3 is gone!
Once my NTC3 is gone, I'll be playing with the Big Boys Toys... Going quarter scale racing. Maybe I'll end up with some trick BMI CNC machined parts on my quarter scale, who knows?
Thanks Jason for the kick-a$$ chassis, she was as perfect as a car can get. Sure gonna miss her...
Okay I am over it...!

Those things are awsome! I wish I had a 1/4 scale Dragster Vrommmm!!!!!!!!!!
I am leaning towards the sprint car, but it seems the NASCAR style stock car is more popular here.
We shall see....

the chassis should not sag in the center.what would cause that is if your cells do not lay even with the standoffs and you tighten your battery strap down.you may have to fit them being that the batteries rarely go together the same every time.let me know how it works out for you.
