through various tests i have also found that a more rigid chassis works better in a shaft drive car than a flexi chassis on asphalt.when the chassis flexes it binds the drivetrain and stalls in corners.this is the reason for not doing a flexible chassis for any shaft drive cars.it is a little more difficult to set up but is better in the longrun

So far in my tests.. I'm a lap faster with the 2.5mm chassis than I am with the 3mm,And another thing to think about is Hara won the nats. using a 2mm chassis. For carpet I do think the 3mm is the only way to go,on a parking lot track..I'm not sure about that.

i guess it depends on set up because i tried the 2mm,2.5mm,and 3mm chassis on my tc3 and i was .3 seconds faster with the 3mm.also alot of my 3mm cars have placed very well at national events.im sure that driving style has alot to do with it but if you spin your drivetrain on your shaft drive car and twist your chassis, you will clearly see that it binds up your drivetrain.almost like having dragbrake.i guess that could be a good thing in modified.however, you cant really guage this off of a pro driver.they can do extremely well with anything.same goes in any sport or hobby.

You can also go to Mike McMahon's website. There are more examples of his work there. I have a pitboard and a Turbo 35 GFX faceplate done by him, looks great.

Jason,

I am sorry I have not gotten back to you to tell you that I received the chassis on tuesday. Everything went onto the chassis no problemo. I cannot beleive how well the car handles now.

Prior to receiving the chassis, I completely tore apart and cleaned and rebuilt my car. EVERY part. All bearings removed, cleaned or replaced, it was practically new. When I got the chassis, installed all of the components, I took it outside and ran a pack. No tuning or setting of anything. I did not adjust Toe-out or anything of the sort. All of the factors that would normally be dialed in at a track were not touched. The car was unbeleivable. I had to TRY to get the car to break traction. I Now have more steering that I Have ever had with My car, and I have mroe rear end traction now. THe car corners like no car that I have ever owned.

I would like to sincerely thank you for your beautiful Product, and I cannot wait until I get this on the track.

I now have the high pitch squeel coming from my tires when cornering, and I have longed to have a car that dialed.

bottom line is, I LOVE YOU. You will be receiving another $130 in the near future.
THANKS.
