Hey Dan,

It was nice to see you again, and thank you very much for the Lanyard.....

It was very nice to see one of the up and coming matchers support his people in a real personal way. Cannot wait to see what you have cooking, and good luck and congrats on the upcoming addition to your family.

Guys,

Thanks again for the Gratz! ^^

Just a reminder that our battery cases and motor cases are back in stock. Since they're moving quite fast, please grab them before they're all gone.. Thanks..

If u can get 1.18 and up, then get it if budget is not an issue.

Default dead shortening

How much more voltage will I get if I dead shorten the Fukyyama matched cells (1.171, 6V,..)? Will the cells get a lot more punch? I am still 1.3 secs off the TQ guy. I heard some fast guys here deadshortening their cells to get max performance.

Is there a big difference in performance between 1.18 and 1.17 cells?

Are you running stock or modified? Either way, we don't reccomend that you dead short your cells. If it's not done just right it can be vary dangerous. Also, the POSSIBLE gain is minimal and potential damage to your expensive batteries is more than it's worth. Driving and motor tuning will get you farther than dead shorting your packs. 1.3 sec a lap won't be made up by shorting your cells.

As far as the performance between 1.17 and 1.18's, it's minimal. I think you'll benifit more from addidtional track time and practice far more than slightly higher voltage.

Weird thing!

Weird thing has happened! My Fukuyama packs suddenly after 10+ charges came alive on me, and i mean "BALISTIC"!!!!
As i stated a few pages back in this forum i wasn't all to pleased about the performance of these packs when they were new. But today i used them at a race where it didn't matter how i finnished (Yeah right, as if i didn't want to win ) and i kind of smoked the oposition. All six of them were rellegated to practise packs since i wasn't happy with them, but i gues i have to put them back into the racebox now

Next time you Fukuyama guys should put a note wih the packs saying "cycle 10 times before 1st race"

Regards

I'm glad they've woken up for you. The brand new cells don't seem to take a lot of cycles to come alive. But the older cells did always get stronger after the first 5-10 runs.
