Fukuyama Batteries

I'm surprised
After storing my two Fuku packs for a month, they wasnt lazy! Ususally, I find packs are slow (high IR after storing for a month or more), but not these. If they were a little slower, it was so little, that I didnt noticed. I just stored them discharged to 0,8 volt / cell at 20 amps. Normal room temperature.

rangulo,
Are you on Team Fuku? If so, congrats and welcome aboard my brutha.
John,
Been doing good bro. Everyone is running outside now and I am sticking to the rug. Mainly practice every week and experiment with set ups. Trying to be super dialed for fall. As for the Pro 4. Out the door dude. Parts support is a MAJOR problem right now. I got an X-Ray FK with BMI's .350 forward slot chassis. Car is just SUPER DIALED. I always eat my words as I like to experiment with a lot of cars, but I can see my self running X-Ray this coming season. So we'll see.........

RB - Have you run the T1 FK with the stock chasis, and what benefits did you see from the BMI? Contemplating running the staggered cell setup like Cyrul, but it's somewhat of a commitment - want to talk to others before I start moving that much stuff around.

I have ran the original T1, EVO2, FOC, and now the Factory Kit. I never ran my Factory Kit with the stock chassis as I knew I wanted a stiffer car. In comparison to my other X-Ray cars it is far superior... The stiff chassis keeps my car more flat during transition. I have the chassis with the cells almost a full cell forward (.350). I feel that makes the car much more fluid in and out of the corners. Not to much weight on the rear and not to much on the front. My opinion is that is the only way to go.
As for the staggered. Remember that Cyrul runs his cars quite a bit different than most and he is running SERIOUS horse power. His requirements are much different than mine. I did try a staggered set up once on my FOC car and did not prefer it. My car is perfectly balanced and feels that on the track. Staggered might as well, but not for me......
Soooooooo. All that said. Only recommendation I can make is go for the .350 forward chassis. It is dialed and BMI does better graphite work than most manufacturer's if not all of them.......

Hey Rob - Glad to see you like Xray again! I know the pro 4 parts support has been selling a lot of cars, WYD sold his already too and went with a Cuda R2. He really liked the car too. I'm pretty sure the xray FK chassis is the same as the EVO 2 chassis. Interesting that you never even ran it with that chassis and went right for the BMI. I've tried my BMI 3mm chassis in asphalt and found that it's too stiff for that type of racing. I've switched back to the stock chassis and it's better. Maybe I'll have him make me a 2mm in your configuration (.350 forward) for asphalt for me. What thickness is your rug chassis? 3mm? Have you tried the adjustable upper deck that BMI puts out yet? I have one, and it's a great tuning tool for adjusting the flex of the upper deck.
Talk to you later bro.
John
Anthony - Great job man. Keep it up. Always outpunch your competition.

I am running a 3mm chassis, 3mm solid top deck, 3mm front and rear shock towers. I have an adjustable top deck on the way. I figured it would be good in lower bite situations.
The only thing I am running is carpet. I feel the stiffer the better.
