Technical question about voltage and capacity
I do not know much about electricty and electronics; but,
aren't there componants which alow you to increase voltage, coils or transformers?
In circuit design can't you trade 7 volts/30 amps/8 minutes for say for say 8.5 volts/30 amps/ 6 minutes.
If this is the case you would think that since 3800mah have more capacity or more total amp/hours tan you need for stock racing, you could put a componant in the circuit which would give you more voltage.

This is actually a question that I've thought of as well. Unfortunately, the nature of a transformer doesn't make the idea very feasible.
A motor is basically a resistor that converts electical current into a physical force, by creating a magnetic field. So physics says that if current flow remains constant, an increase in voltage should increase power, as power = volts squared/resistance. The way a transformer works is that the current from the power source creates a magnetic field, which in turn creates a current on a different "wire". The drawback is that you need a varying current from the power source, hence the need to invert a DC power source into an AC source. This isn't an issue in large generating operations, as they are mostly AC anyways. So, to make the scheme work, you would need to invert the current twice between the battery and motor, and that equipment would weigh a lot.
