Is the rotor's on the MM motor's sintered or bonded. And if they arn't sintered is there one I could put in the motor?

carbon, you would have to get it apart, first.

MM motors have sintered rotors, as all respectable motors do. Bonded rotors are pretty much just an insult to the customer.

Well after almost 3 months off from touring car I raced at a newer track that ran touring car with rubber tires on carpet. My Mamba Max running in brushed mode once again worked great in the 6 minute races that this track ran. I ran against mainly lipo/brushless powered 13.5 class cars with my CO27's and IB4200's. It was work but I TQ'ed and took the win. Good thing my Mamba Max and Express Motorsports packs and Motors where fast and my speedo efficient because those damn lipo 13.5 cars have major rip.

Ran at Altoona Raceway. It is about 2 hours from my house in Mechanicsburg. It is 125.7 miles from my house. Had a great time and everyone is very nice and make you feel welcome more than any track I have been to in 20 years. All the guys where nice and the owners where announcing all new racers so everyone would know who you are. They have plenty of room to grow and the track was alot of fun. It was different to run hook and loop carpet but rubber tire carpet is killer and you actually have to drive and slide around some like a real race car. Great fun overall and I will be going back I hope this Friday again.

No I will be moving some stuff into are new house and getting ready for when ares is sold. Don't want it all to hit at once and then scrambling around. Racing Friday night for now is great for me as it leaves my whole weekend open. My offroad car is still not ready for bumps at this time as I have no tires bought to make up slicks.

Thanks. I will get those fronts from you though so hold on to them. Right now it is just a pain til are house is sold and we get setup at the new place and my hobby room gets up and running again. For now I will just race a little and run whatever im in the mood to race. The offroad is killer and especially outside but I'm just not a slick guy and will never be convinced that is the way offroad racing should be so it is just hard to get worked up to race something that I just don't care for so much.

Hell my touring car slid around more last night on carpet than my offroad car does with slicks and that is just plain wrong!!!!!!!!!!

18 buggies showed up @ opening day for bumps and jumps in etters, pa. its indoor time, and thus time for slix. yes i said it, slick tires. on clay. crazy stuff.

punched my way into the feature in the last rd after slick 1st rd (1st heat, thus we cleaned off the track for every1), and a breakage in rd 2. finished 6th on the day, had 4/5 spot but messed up last 2-3laps. still a great day, crazy amts of power even w/4600 and grippy track. i dont need a 3.5 or 4.5 deal, plenty of smack in this deal. sadly i need to figure out the brakes. enuff to help woah down off the straight, but easy enuff to not lose the rear.

i made the A final despite a big mistake in puttin in a battery that i did a full charge on...............3wks ago for 'storage'. flat as all heck, and it prolly got me in b/c he made me drive nice and smooth, very clean. oh well.

good times

This weekend I will be running touring car with my Mamba Max and going to try the Orion 13.5 motor. Will see how that goes but no maint this Friday will make my touring car even more fun.

My 4600 has be nothing but excellent on the offroad for me and when I get back to Bumps and Jumps I will be running the 4600 again. Might get down to practice next week or so.

Im considering getting the Orion 13.5 for stock racing next summer. Let us know how it works out with the mamba esc. If you could share your settings that would be great!
