How is the SG Drifting Scene?
#31
Ok, just a little update. Partly due to X10Serpent's pointers of thin oil front thick oil rear. I have an Aha! moment.
Using thin oil hard spring front, thick oil soft spring rear with slow rebound mod.
Handling is many times better. Able to control drift angle and speed, grip is better instead of loose and too much oversteer.
Now for some practice.

Titan, I think there is a drift meet @ Autodrift today and if I read their old ads, I think they do rent out their yokomos for u to try.

I had seen your ratio, i believe the car speed is abit on the high side due to final drive ratio is 5.8.
plus your motor is estimated around 8.5T.
noramlly we will try to cut at 10.5T recommended motor speed.
drive ratio maybe increase it to 6.5 or 6.9 FDR.
with 16 or 17T pin if possible. that will be much easiler for you to play with.

Titan,
Can I check with you where you got your e racing Sakura Zero S kit from? Is it a local source?
I am thinking of getting the Sakura d3 which is a drift kit and was wondering if there is local support.
Thanks.

The D3 is a good car, was thinking of getting one.
But I think better make the Zero S drift well first before add the headache of tuning a new chassis.

I got it online. Not sure about local support though, all the hop-ups and spares are from online as well. Shipping is 2-3 days if you pay for EMS.

Just wanna check, any CS drifters using rear motor chassis?
It seems that most prefer mid or front motor.
