Talking 2007 Singapore Invitational Challenge 2; Marine Parade RCMC

Hello, everyone, how are you doing today?

Just want to register a word of thanks to all those who came and supported our race on Sunday (30th Dec 2001).

There would be lots of areas to improve on, so your continued support and participation would be most appreciated.

The next 1/10th scale ISTC electric race will be on 27th Jan 2002 and the one following that is on 24th Feb 2002.

Your constructive feedback would be most appreciated.

This Sunday, 6th Jan 2002, we have a 1/8th scale IC gas car race at the Campsite track - following races will be on the first Sunday of every odd month. The 1/10th scale ISTC gas car races will be on the first Sunday of every even month at the Campsite track.

Thanks & Best Regards

Membership fees are $20 less for below 18 year-olds. Try not to quote my whole message in your replies, it clutters up the screen with duplicates. Thanks & Best Regards.

Post 1/10 ISTC Electric Race on 27 Jan 2002

The Prime Minister is holding a dialogue session on Saturday night (26th) at Level 3 of the Marine Parade Building. For obvious security reasons, we won't be allowed to lay the track on Saturday night for practicing. Your understanding would be most appreciated.

We are trying to arrange to have access to the place as early as possible on Sunday to lay the track. We hope to be able to have the track ready by 9am at the latest so as not to delay the race event too much.

We look forward to your participation, cooperation and support at this event.

Thanks and Best Regards

This is the PA Track on the EC service road right?

What is the difference between the Membership Fee and the Entrance Fee?

Yes, it is the one at the East Coast Park Service Road. You can see the map at:

Location Map

The entrance fee is the processing fee when you join a club. The membership fee is the annual cost of being with the club.

The attached file is a picture of the track.

Thanks. The reason I asked is because in your earlier post, both the membership and entrance fee are quoted on a "per year" basis. If I understand you correctly, the entrance fee should only be paid once and the membership fee paid annually when the member elects to renew his membership.

Is that correct?

phlim,

i am a bit confuse regarding the 1/10 ISTC electric race venue.
Is the race held at PA Campsite track or at Marine Parade CC??

If it is at the CC.....is it carpet or tarmac?? Best....any tyre recommendation??
Is this a modified race or stock race??

Thanks.

Smile 1/10 ISTC EP Race (27 Jan & 24 Feb)

Location is at the 3rd Level Basketball Court of the Marine Parade Community Buillding. The surface is a non-slip basketball court type. There is only class of racing: Modified.

You will need to check with the other racers about tyre recommendations. Kasey! would you mind sharing here?

errrr , bu kan tang. I'm only a B man driver .... hehehe
But top drivers uses Sorex 28R and 32Rs. Yokomo 138G is not bad too. Most important is still the car's set up. If ride height is too low, there's not enough roll = not so good traction - that's what I found out in the last race. An understeer car, not matter how good the tire traction is, will still corner slower that a mild-oversteer car !!

happy practising & racing

Default LoLa body

Hi Phlim,
I think it will be more fun & challenging by using the LoLa body shell in the 1/10 nitro race at PS Campsite! Any plan to use this body for this race.
