If you are trying to fit 28mm tires.. try the silver 6mm Tamiya wheel hexes and using A blocks up front. This "should" keep the car within 190mm. You "should" beable to do this with both the stand and LW suspension.

Sad too sat that it will not work with 28 foams because of the steering post rubbing against the wheel, as of a matter of fact you can't even get wheel on, so I will be running LW in the rear and standard in the front and i will use the wheel spacers as needed

Ready for action!
Winter is drawing in and my Nitro season is over, so my attention has been turned back to my TRF-415 which I bought a couple of months ago.
After finding the build process a little more fiddly than I liked (I built the 415 straight after the Xray T1 FK, which went together like a dream!), my opinion of the 415 has gone back up.
I'm very impressed with the weight distribtion of the chassis - I found with my setup, front and back + left and right are perfectly balanced. I had expected the weight of the battery pack to mean that the car would be heavier on that side, but to my surprise left and right are equal.
Also the weight of the car is perfect in my opinion - 1475 grams with the shell. This should mean with my personal transponder I won't have to add any weight to the chassis (which I have added until I mount the transponder).
With the Xray, I had to add over 100 grams of aditional weight to bring it up to the legal limit - meaning there are bits of lead stuck all over the chassis!
Anyway, before I start my testing of the two cars, here's a pic of my 415:

I am currently running 28MM foams on my 415 with stock suspension. I use the factory wheel hexes but use 1.5mm of Tamiya wheel spacers for each wheel. I run the A1 front rear block and the D1 Front front block and i am at 188mm. You will be fine either using my methed of the 6mm Tamiya hexes. i bought the hexes but never used them...they just don't look as cool as using the blue hexes with the red and blue wheel spacers !!

i am doing the exact same thing all i do is i shave off half mm of the wheels and its a perfect fit i took some pictures to show you guys .

I can't see why you would need 28mm foamies on a EP car.
I run foam on my 415 fine with LW sus.
Dual a-blocks on the front with 6mm hubs all round.
Add 1mm spacer to front and u fit 26mm foams easy, you can run whatever size foams on the rear but large foams will only reduce corner speed.
