No, he did not use the battery tray system. That would require alot of regrinding of the battery slots.

Groffball, you gonna make it out to the TCS at the RCO this year? I'll be back, but with time with my MSX. I might even race GT2 with my TA05... maybe... I wanna concentrate on GT1 though. I could always bring out my Mini..

the problem is the car is real slow to enter shap corners at any decent speed. The car is awesome through the huge sweeper we have but slow giong into the tight "s" section

Any help would be great. Thanks.
Take the front swaybar off and use blue springs up front

The car today did seem improved without the foam, so I think it's the ticket for carpet (I'm sure Erik could help confirm this), not so sure about outdoors though. I'd have to try it myself first, but I have a suspecsion that because the rebound is lower, it might not handle bumps so well... something to try anywho.

On carpet the car works allot better without the foams. More traction all around and allot easier to drive!!

@ bender;
I am working on the tips section, honest. It's taking a longer cause I don't have much time on my hands at the moment, very busy with work (although it probably doesn't seem like it ), and other things.

Anyway, as a quick bit of proof....
www.thard.co.uk/tips.html
The only one that works is the david jun droop method... I am adding more bits as i go along though.

@ Erik;
Thats certainly what I found, cheers for confirming it...

Regards
Ed

Yeah, that makes sense. I'm not really too hot on how the change actually works, i.e. what it actually does to flow inside the shock. But it seems to work (btw, quick comparison, With foam my fastest lap yesterday was a 15.37, without, 14.79...)

Really, 0.58sec faster??? Thats a HUGE difference!
I know the car is allot better without the foam, but I did not think it was that much!!
Then we should try to set up the shocks with no rebound at all, might be even better, whoooohoooo!!

hehe...
I agrre it was quite alot, and was my only sub 15second lap of that run (posted on the third from last lap ). Probably just a freak one which I somehow managed to hook up (and given there were two 18sec ones either side bloody traffic)... still I reckon it improved it by about 3tenths at least (I was regularly doing low 15's/high 14's in the next run), just by the car being smoother and nicer to drive

Cheers
Ed
