Thanks,

I'm running a Losi Xcelorin ESC (very pleased with it).
If the size of the SP GT2.0 is; 43mm (L) x 36mm (W) x 33mm ( H), it should just fit.

Looks like a standard version is on its way with FRP chassis, steel driveshaft and plastic diffs. Tamiya will show this along with a Ferrari F60 body (2009 spec) at the Tokyo Hobby Show next month.

From the same page, Babelfish translates part of the second last paragraph as:

"And, in order to enjoy easy it is appearance with the rubber tire of slick type"

Rubber tires??? Whoohoo!

Can someone with better translation skills have a look? Someone told me over the weekend that there's an old Latin jibe: "To translate is to lie"...

Well spotted mate! Rubber tyres would be sweet. Chances are, Tamiya will do both a standard compound and a higher traction compound. Hopefully they will be available soon after the hobby show.

HAha funny translations aye!

Could be meaning this: Using slick type rubber tyres, you will be enjoyed, by looking at its faithful copy appearance.

It's nothing complicated. Use a regular 1:12 servo like the JR Z3550 I'm using and mount it "up side down" with a Kimbrough servo saver. Tilt it about 45deg. and put it as far to the front as possible - check that the front beam doesn't interfere with the servo arm movement. You will need to use the servo mount plates for small/thin servos.
