They have a new 35C hard case pack that looks really good on a graph they have in their forums.

I am not sure if it would fit the 008. I run the SMC 5000 offset with a PPD under tray. It works great this way!

I would give the new hard case a try for sure.

fair enough, but I only race at a local club level and I doubt that I will see that much difference between a maxamps pack and a matched lip. I run a GTB with a 4.5R motor in mod, the car has so much power I doubt I will see a difference. I ran an orion 4800 up until now.

Do people really see that much of diffence between a pack like maxamps and a matched lipo with the setup / type racing that I am doing?

I'm looking into getting a touring car next month but there are alot of good cars and I have always raced offroad so I was hoping to get some input on what you guys like and don't like about the T2 008.

The belts should last, but depending on track conditions (dust, rocks, etc...) they might not look to good afterwards. I would have an extra diff on hand, as well as several bearings.
i know that my team will be probably breaking parts but i just want to know that i will not have to sit in the pits for 20-30 minutes trying to replace a set of belts. the track is a high traction indoor thack that i have never had a problem with rocks or anythying detting cought in the belts. i just want to pick up a durable, reliable car that i will want to run later after the race to have as a back-up, trans-am, or 17.5 car

hey guys sorry if this has already been answered but just quickly, how are you guys getting around the 17.5 gearing and fitting aftermarket spurs to the '008, obviously to get the 55mm rollout etc. aftermarket spurs, which brands?

Thanks heaps!

The only company that makes them right now specifically for the 008 in a smaller size are RW. You can get them at Nexusracing.net Also Xray makes them to 104 but that is not small enough for 17.5. You'll need in the 90-94 range for 17.5. Kimbrough fits as well but wont work unless you are running lipo due to the gear being so wide it will rub the battery badly.

Your drive system ratio will drive your spur choice. When running the 1.7 / US drive style I just started using a 104T spur. Previously when running the 2.3?? / EU drive style I ran a 90, 92 or 94T spur.

Questions?? xray pivot pins

Hello all!

I'm going to order arm-reamers, while awaiting my Xray. Could you please specify what are the suspension pivot pins diameter in T2'008? Are they all the same in diam?

Thanks a lot!
