isn't 9.6 kind of high for peak voltage on a new pack?

It really deonds on the charger sometimes but after a few runs that usually drops (if it starts high). I wouldn't sweat it really since the pack hasn't been run much; it will level out.

Most of the time my packs will level out at 8.6V

Cos i am new to the game of distribution a lot of shops are not intrested, unless it`s cml,helgar,mirage, Just pants, there loss racers gain

I have been using some 1.174 from Orion and they work great but I need a little more ooooooommmmmmmmppppppphhhhhhhh if you know what I mean. Everyone who is runnign stock class has 1.185 and beyond so I needed to get a couple realy nice packs. I will post my results when I finish racing next weekend.

I bought 3 PMR packs in one of the 3 for sales...being a newbie I wired them up so the orange end of the last battery was positive and the green was negative. I then doublecheck my work with my VOM and noticed the green was + and the orange end -, so I swapped the wires and have run the packs for about a month now without any issues. Today, I bought a Novak Smart Tray, and it says to put 3 batt bars up, and 2 down, and to align the + and - ends of the pack with the markings on the tray..however, when I do that I have 2 bars up, and 3 down.
Is aligning the bars the correct way, or aligning the battery bars?
