Well. I did hit the curb twice on the left side at the end of the straight, a high speed right hand turn. Some sort of protection material on the curb would have been nice. I named it "the money turn". I broke the upper front arm on my F104v2 at the same turn yesterday. So I broke two cars and ended up making a hybrid out of f104v2 and trf101.
Next week I plan to make a hybrid of f104w gp rear and trf101 front.

I was told by Rc champ that this was a one off production run and there was no more stock for the forseable future. Although as stated if there is enough demand then they will make another batch.
Are spares available for them yet? Such as the car on rear shaft?

The TRF101 is a "limited-edition" racing kit. It says so on the box and it's marketed that way.
Will more be made after the production run has been completely sold out will depend on current market conditions and demand.
RE: Parts for the TRF101. Spare parts for the TRF101 will arrive at Tamiya USA's warehouse in about 4-5 weeks from today. This includes high wear items.

Flip them the other side so the indent is facing the outside. I forget how much more camber. Heard -1.5 or -2.5?? Someone correct me...

[QUOTE=FMW;12372119]I can't speak for other markets around the world, but Tamiya America has stock of the TRF101. Our wholesale partners have been purchasing this item for over 3 weeks.

Anybody seen a TRF101 kit listed for sale? All the sites I checked had the kit out of stock.

Does anyone know if this will work on the TRF101?

Or maybe a better question is if this is even needed? What width is this car with Rubber tires?

you do not need any hop ups for the TRF101 kit... except for alloy twist nuts (thumb screw) battery holders (optional). http://www.tqrcracing.com/shop/produ....asp?p_id=3596
The width of the car is 190mm.

another night of racing and I'm pleased with how the car is shaping up. I had a question around cornering. In fast sweepers the car handles really well, but in chicanes/s bends it doesn't like to go left right left very quickly, it hates the quick change of directions.
I didn't get much of a chance to try anything to correct, but to honest, I don't know where to start.
I'm currently running the silver springs on the rear, 30 wt oil rear with red spring. track is low traction/bumpy. Tires are Shimizu 572 rear and 573 front in night temps of 16 deg cel.
would appreciate any thoughts on what might help make it transition smoother

If you are using the tamiya servo saver , you can start to change it for a better one (kimbrough for exemple)
you can also raise the rear position of the central damper

And as has been pointed out no one seems to have them in stock anywhere.
